“I love my mom, but sorry mother....this is just as good. Very consistent cooking and its delicious. Nice touches like mini muffins if you get there early enough. I was contemplating giving 4 stars, but the food is that good that it outweighs the negatives. Be prepared to wait a long time. It's very busy. But worth the wait. Enjoy your coffee and slow down a bit it you've got the time. Everyone I was with was very happy with their meal. It is cooked to order to perfection. Great job folks. And again, sorry mom.”

“We went on a Friday, and got great service. Staff were super friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. The fish and chips are definitely worthy of it being "famous." The butter chicken was also really tasty (though the portion of chicken could've been a bit more). Beautiful interior and a very fun atmosphere. LOVE the decorations!”

“I found this restaurant by happy accident, while driving through Southampton, and I’m thrilled I did. It was NOT at all what I was expecting, in a town where dining options have disappointed us in the past. This is upscale, carefully crafted food, with locally sourced ingredients and shockingly generous portions. The duck parfait was silky and unctuous. The slab house smoked bacon crisped to perfection. Our mains, of the burger and the duck, left us both raving about the quality. The dessert of the chocolate tart was big enough for two to share, and was one of best I’ve had. All of this with a bill that was more than reasonable for food of this caliber ( especially when I compare this with a meal we recently had, at one of the country’s top rated restaurants, where pretentious service combined with minuscule portions of barely above par food left us with a lunch bill of well over $100, with no alcohol). Long winded review, I know, but this is one place was worth the words.”

“Great atmosphere had an amazing burger with a side of sweet potato fries with an amazing kale salad. The reason for 3 is simply this. Flies everywhere I looked. Buzzing over us as we ate. We went to pay our bill at the bar and flies buzzing there and even in the washroom. Maybe it was just an off day so might return, however if I see one fly I'm bolting outta there.”

“Wow, glad to have visited this bakery on my birthday while vacationing in Southampton! Their pastries are delicious! The fruit danish is exquisite, a must try! Also tried the strawberry tart and napoleon bar which were very tasty! The sausage rolls are good, however I found them a little bland. There was a line up going in on a Thursday morning but moved along fairly quickly. I will be back to get some more goodies tomorrow before we head home. Highly recommended!!”

“Takeout coffee, dark roast, was delicious two weeks ago. Why go to Tim's? This is a restaurant not just a coffee shop, with outdoor seating in nice weather. We did not have a meal here on *this* quick visit to town. But it really is a nice, classy place in a large older house. The ladies working there could have been friendlier, however.”
