Chef Freddie brings a classic FRENCH offering to an intimate space in the small town of Shelburne- so worth the drive! Specials such as Australian Wagyu and blue fin carpaccio keep the offering exciting and fresh for regulars who want more than his mainstay textbook perfect classic FRENCH bistro staples such as perfect crepes and croque monsieur.

Freddy is the most welcoming chef and his space brings so much ambiance. The food is fabulous. Can’t say enough positive things about BTG!

A nice addition to Shelburne, and a literal hole in the wall. You pass down the hallway into your own private area with limited seating, so make sure you phone ahead. You could watch the food being prepared with the open kitchen concept. The food was rich, the portions were reasonable, and the staff were kind.

Keep an eye out - you might miss the entrance, which would be a shame. Delicious breakfast with adult breakfast beverages (double-yum). A unique menu for the rural area, yet pairings that would satisfy the local folk. Crepes? Yep - they have them. Lots more on the lunch and specials menu to come back and try.

Such delicious food! We ordered the tomato and feta tart and Norwegian salad to start and both were incredible. For our mains we had two crepes, one with asparagus and mushrooms and the other was a Thai shrimp curry. They were both perfect and the shrimp were large and cooked just right. Freddy really knows what he’s doing, we’ll be back soon! Thank you very much!
