What an excellent find for fun snacks or filling meals. We had some mixed drinks that were unique, not too boozy, not too sweet. The wait staff was attentive and helped to make suggestions, they certainly knew there menu, which is telling to the positive management situation. Recommend for quick happy hour, date night, or just a quick bite
We were in Kingston for one evening and booked here. The place is not big, but they agreed to host a large group of adults and kids.
We kept the kids at one end of the table and us at the other.
Service was great. The server was able to keep the orders together and service was prompt and friendly.
Beer selection was good. There was something for everyone.
Food, and this is the reason why I am posting, was beyond expectations. For the price, I found the food to be exceptional. The quality was very high.
Our dinner partners ordered the arancini (rice balls). I tried a little and was quite impressed. The accompanying sauce as very tasty, what remained at the end, was quickly dispatched with the warm rolls served before the mains.
The two pastas, my wife and I ordered, were well portioned, perfectly cooked, and had the appropriate sauce. I found the portions appropriate, but not enough room to try dessert.
The only downside was the espresso at the end of the meal. It wasn't bad, but certainly not close to the same quality as the meal.
definitely going back.
We came to Kingston for one night and hoped around to different restaurants to get a true feel for it rather than settling on one restaurant. We had read great reviews of Atomica so we made a reservation, planning to have finish our Kingston meal with a bang.
Unfortunately, we were forgotten and after being seated waited a very long time for anyone to come over to ask us for our order or even if we wanted drinks or water.
The food was great and the staff were super attentive and accommodating after the mishap. We were left feeling like if we'd had a better table and server we may have had a better experience. The atmosphere was bustling though our section seemed like an afterthought.
Service was prompt and they accommodated my children. Hummus was tasty and so were the four pizzas we ordered. I wouldn't get the warm olives again. Good portion size. I've eaten here before and I remember the crust being less chewy (perhaps it was a bad day?) But the flavour was excellent, and so was the sangria. All in all, decent restaurant.
Delicious shareable appetizers, yummy flavours, quality pizza. Great place for a girls' night out. Small summer patio.
When they are full, it gets noisy. If that is an issue, suggest an earlier dinner before the place is jumping. Make a reservation.
