Today I met a friend from out of town at the Yellow Deli for lunch. First time for both of us. Wow we were impressed. I had the cranberry cashew salad, carrot ginger soup, spelt raisin break, date square and the yerba mango mate. Everything was delicious, healthy, fresh. I'm gluten intolerant so was thrilled I had so many choices. The staff were super friendly, professional and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. After lunch we visited their market next door and fell in love with gift cards, shampoo, lotions, tea etc. There is space to meet clients over tea. Two thumbs up for the Yellow Deli.

The food is absolutely excellent and the prices are reasonable. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. It is run by a cult... which isn't the best but it's hard to find any business with a clear conscience AND good food these days. I buy food at church bake sales too and eat at restaurants that are supplied from factory farms... My point is a little of dash evil is the spice that makes the best meals. Try out the Yellow Deli!

Step in here and you'll feel the unique and cozy vibes this place has to offer. It's close to Princess St., but with the decor you don't get distracted by the cars going by and can enjoy the relaxing vibe of the place. Really friendly staff who will engage in conversation and seem to be genuinely interested in their clientele.

Food was great. I had the turkey sandwich on rye, which is made in-house, and my wife had the veggie burger which wasn't dry and quite flavourful. They take some simple sandwich concepts and spruce them up with a sauce or aioli. We also ordered a coffee which was made to order and delicious. Didn't have a chance to try the desserts, but they sound delicious.

Family operated business using their own farm products. Had coffee and their home gown home backed carrot cake. Excellent.
