Mylar & Loreta's Restaurant

Have driven by hundreds of times while driving to/from Muskoka, but have never stopped in.Today we took the plunge. We did not have reservations but we were politely seated with the exception that our table was reserved for a party in an hour. We had both ordered the turkey special with a Greek salad. We were blown away by how great tasting the food was. We could tell nothing came from a can, and that it was all homemade. Service was excellent and no-hurried. We will definitely return!

The best eggs benedict and pancakes I've ever had, hands down. Service was a bit slow but it was really busy so that's understandable. The tea comes in beautiful little tea cups and saucers. A must try!!!!

I ordered fries only; however, man what fries they were. The place added some touch of home and they were very welcoming. I would certainly love to go back for other items or even drive down just for the fries.

To start off I would like to say a big thank you to the owners of this restaurant for the amazing quality of fries. That's what fries should look and taste like. Big, chunky and yummy. We couldn't dine in as we had our lab with us and it was too hot to leave him in the car so we got some takeaway. The burger was juicy and yummy, the chicken fingers with accompanying sauce was divine and they were generous with giving away enough condiments without having to ask. Loved it!
