“Have driven by hundreds of times while driving to/from Muskoka, but have never stopped in.Today we took the plunge. We did not have reservations but we were politely seated with the exception that our table was reserved for a party in an hour. We had both ordered the turkey special with a Greek salad. We were blown away by how great tasting the food was. We could tell nothing came from a can, and that it was all homemade. Service was excellent and no-hurried. We will definitely return!”

“I have never stayed at the inn, but we make sure that we stop at the restaurant on the way too and from our cottage on the Bruce Peninsula. This is the BEST curry I have had in North America......and I have eaten curry all over the world. I highly recommend a visit. The restaurant also serves other food, and excellent breakfasts. The mango chutney is off the chart amazing!! Mr P runs the front-of-house operation, and Mrs P is the chef. Eat there, you won't be disappointed!”

Their ice cream sandwiches use homemade rhubarb ice cream and is sandwiched between two gingerbread cookies. The rest of the deserts, also home made. I ate way too much. Brunch Buffet on Sundays. “Biggest complaint is the serving size for the price. For example, we bought the cashew rice and added lime basil chicken. The cashew rice is $10 or so plus $5.50 for the chicken. We were really surprised when just a handful of chicken (seemed like half a breast) came, along with just a cup of rice. $5.50 for that little chicken? It was a bit disappointing and felt unnecessary. Amazing quality food though.”

“We love this place! The food is old school delicious and consistently great. The home fries are cooked on the flat-top the way they should be, not thrown into a deep fryer. The wait staff are the best: friendly, engaging, and efficient! As a vegetarian they will make me something off the menu (I usually go for the Eggs Florentine). The experience is all around great and you won’t leave hungry! It’s easy to become a regular if you live anywhere in the vicinity.”

“I visited this place a couple of times in the last week. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I am particularly impressed that it was open on Labour Day when it's difficult to find anything open in the area. The food is good and reasonably priced.
