The pork shank is a must-try, fried crisp on the outside but incredibly tender like pulled pork underneath. The meatloaf trio is fun, and the fried chicken meatloaf in the trio is amazing. We have also tried the jambalaya pasta which was great, and the Forager flatbread and Prime pizza. The flatbread is a cracker style crust while the pizza is much thicker soft dough.

Dishes were full of flavor. Atmosphere was lovely. James St North has another hit.

We were greeted at the bar which is located at the front door by the bartender who asked us if we had reservations and reacted as if we may not get a table. The restaurant only had four patrons at the time and we arrived a half hour after opening. Menu is small and eclectic. It’s chilly in the restaurant and I left my coat on during supper. The service was fast and friendly. I would recommend it to try as a one time occasion for the ambiance. We weren’t able to get down to the bar downstairs which was recommended by other reviewers.

We were in the front room; a nice separate space for groups of up to 20. We ate family style from the set menu. The wine selection was not extensive, but the yummy cocktails made up for that. The food was UNREAL and there was something for everyone with variety and plenty to fill you up (even if you're vegan)! I cannot comment on the speed of service because we were a large group and not in a rush so the pace worked for us.
