“I had a steak and it was cooked to perfection. The whole meal tasted wonderful and the service was very good. The waitress sat us at our table as soon as we walked in. She had great knowledge of the menu and was able to offer suggestions. She was quick at picking up empty plates and refill our water glasses. I will definitely be eating here again.”

“The local Howard Johnson receptionist Dillon told us that the best restaurant in Lindsay was the Grand. It was a family restaurant that has been serving Lindsay's pop of about 21,000 people for over 45 years. It's on the main drag and easy to find. We had the homemade spaghetti with fresh garlic tomato sauce and French onion soup. Both were succulent”

“Just went in for lunch with a friend and enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxed. Such a great change the brewery has made In the last year. I plan to be back for more pizza and lattes. Highly recommend :)”

“Only here once. Had halibut and fries ,and ,an order of 1 piece of haddock. It was all quite good. Only complaint is that , for my taste , the batter was a bit too thick. It was cooked very well though. Prices are reasonable and service excellent. I will go back.”

“Charmin’s Wholesome Foods provides the best catering experience I could have asked for! They catered my sister’s wedding last weekend and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect meal. They looked after a cocktail hour with everything you could imagine, then provided a delicious buffet style meal and thought of all the little details for 125 people. Desserts were amazing and everyone raved about the whole meal from start to finish. Charmin and her team were so professional, organized and nice to work with. My mom, sister and I also went to her cafe in Lindsay. The food and service was great there too and we were able to customize a menu that was exactly what the bride wanted. “Haven’t been to Lindsay for many years wanted to go to a different restaurant but they were booked up so came to the Olympia restaurant instead ..... glad we did although turns out the other place is run by the brother of Nicki the owner of the Olympia. The meal was delicious and Nicki spent time talking with us (very nice). Will definitely eat back”

“Not a bad place for a Thai in cottage town. However, the dishes are too sweet. The food is still good, but for anyone who has tried an authentic Thai restaurant, you won't be pleased. If you are in the area and feel like Thai, I'd suggest that you go for it. But don't go with the expectations for the food to be a 4+ star quality authentic Thai. Great service, no complaints there and the facility is clean.”

“Best fish and chips around, as well as the best Captain George location! Great place to sit down and eat or to order takeout. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. Fish is lightly battered, chips are homemade and cooked perfectly, fresh homemade coleslaw. Great price for the size of portions you get. The only downfall is sometimes it can be very difficult to find a parking spot, but it's worth it. Highly recommended!!”
