Island Spices Caribbean Cuisine

Went to this place today for a meal, haven't been on the strip for a few years and was pleasantly surprised to see this place here. Had brunch (ackee and saltfish) and went back for curry chicken and rice. Food was very good and the owners are very friendly and pleasant. They even make fresh patties, we had chick pea and potato and jerk chicken patties which were delicious. Everything was flavorful and not too spicy for my wife, which was the cherry on top for her. All in all great place, will be back everytime I visit at least once. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Was in town for a show at the Huron County Playhouse and found this little gem. Having spent some time in the Caribbean myself I must say I did not expect much but was wonderfully surprised. The flavors were spot on and reminded me of the delicious food I didnt even realize I missed. The owners are endearing, thanks for wowing us with your hospitality!!! Cant wait for the next show!

I'm truly disappointed in myself as a local today this was my first visit to Island spice. I went to the new 2nd location on Ontario street, the owner is a solid guy! My girlfriend had the jerk chicken and I had the ox tail. The flavours were perfect, the coleslaw was great and the portion sizes were just what we needed for two hungry people. I will be sure to tell my friend this is the spot to eat when you come to Grand Bend!
