“Lovely location. Very friendly staff. We went on a slow time (maybe 30 % capacity), but the staff did not seem to be able to manage the tables they had. One table would get water, the next would not. We asked for extra napkins as soon as our food came, but we never got them. We ordered a "garbage can" nachos, which came in a large can, that was removed at the table. A very unique presentation that we truly enjoyed. The chips were excellent, but the cheese sauce was horrible. The server could not describe the beers to us, and as they were not familiar (except for Corona) and we are not 'craft beer' junkies, we did not know which to order. Washroom was stylish, very small and weird, with frosted glass on the stall doors. One of the two stalls had a broken lock, so, in that small space, two people were doing a squish past each other for one to come out and the next to go into the only stall available. Thank goodness it wasn't packed that day.”

“This is a great food truck. We stopped here on the way back to Strathroy after a day at a friend's pool. My 9 year old daughter said we have to rate it 5 stars because: -The lady that runs it was very nice. -The burger was the best burger she ever tasted, it must have been made by a gourmet chef. -The food came quickly. My wife and I really liked our loaded poutine and sausage on a bun as well. This food truck is new, the woman that owns it used to run a restaurant in the area, and she uses fresh ingredients not frozen. Cash only.”

Our group had the fish and chips, the beef burger and daily special ravioli, along with deep fried pickles as an appetizer; which turned out to be a fantastic portion. “My husband and I went for dinner here on the weekend for our anniversary we were staying at the Oakwood for the night and wanted a nice dinner something other then pub food and thought this would be the place for it in Grand Bend. I had looked at the menu online and was looking forward to the Seafood Skillet. First off our server was great, friendly and knowledgeable. We split a large Sangria which was delicious and made fresh. Sad to say that my Seafood Skillet was anything but delicious. Over cooked and completely flavorless plus it was more like seafood soup. I was expecting a skillet of seafood for one as that is what this dish is called. Definitely not worth the $30 they charge for this. I'm kicking myself for not speaking up about it at the time but didn't want to ruin a pleasant evening and our server was great. I will probably not return due to my disappoint sadly, cute little restaurant though.”

“Went to Midori for the first time this weekend. Staff, location, decor, and of course the food was great. We had the edamame, crab dip and egg rolls for appetizers and were they ever tasty! As for the rolls they were also very good and the presentation was beautiful. Our server Candace was excellent bringing water to the table as we were seated and the manger checked in with us to make sure all was well. Would recommend!”

“Was in town for a show at the Huron County Playhouse and found this little gem. Having spent some time in the Caribbean myself I must say I did not expect much but was wonderfully surprised. “Say cheese!!! No skimping on the cheese at this place. Crust is more doughy than crisp/thin so matter if preference there. We had a pure cheese, a pepperoni and a Hawaiian. The first two were the best as the high cheese overpowered the other ingredients on the Hawaiian. Good outing though. Cosy eat-in option available”

“It was very busy when we were there, maybe because it's a good place. The food is good. It has a big patio. It's beside the beach and you can have a great view of the beach. The servents are good at serving and are concentrated. There are games your can play there instead of going on your phone. There is beanbag toss, connect 4 and more.”

“A really great place for both fancy and fast eats by the beach! The food is justifiably a little more pricey than other places on the strip, and the bar has a skilled bartender, who made a great and refreshing mule after a swim at the beach! They can provide a high chair for the little ones, and mine loved the macaroni and cheese! they had a great option for a vegetarian burger, but I went with this lettuce wrapped meaty awesomeness instead! It has a washroom that was clean, but nothing fancy. Great decor however, especially the photos by the washroom!”

You can get soft serve, a wide range of hard ice cream flavours, gelato, etc. They also serve desert waffles and a variety of foods from pizza to poutine. Staff is friendly and is an excellent spot to go for a break from the heat of the beach!”

The menu is adequate for this type of establishment, and has something for everyone. The portions are large, and the quality excellent. The prices are fair, and the servers are friendly and efficient. The desserts are of special note, the apple crisp is phenomenal! A meal in itself. The chips are also noteworthy, fresh chipped potatoes, perfectly fried. A great place to go for a meal, or a drink.”
