Boulton House

Very classy, very delicious. We have been here twice, once in the summer and once in the fall. Both times were delicious and service was wonderful. In the summer we sat on the patio and the view and atmosphere is perfect. There’s also comfortable couches outside that are very inviting for a drink or apps. Inside the chairs are very comfortable which just makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal and dessert. The lunch portions are very large and very filling. Overall, Boulton House is a great addition to Carleton Place and hope it stays! It’s worth a try!

Staff were excellent; food was great (especially dessert). Only complaint was the french fries being just OK (I had the Steak Frites). Highly recommended.

I didn't know of Boulton House until a client of mine told me. We had originally planned to go to Sagar or Black Tartan but they were closed this particular evening. Lucky for us. What Carleton Place has now is 3 incredibly good restaurants. Boulton House is clean, bright, and comfortable. And the food was excellent and lots of it. Service was great. I will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience. Great food in a great setting. They've done a fine job making this restaurant attractive. We both had pastas, gnocchi and tagliatelle, done perfectly. Beautiful sauces. Good portions. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location over looking the falls. The sound of the water is soothing. The staff are very friendly. It is not large inside however it does add to it being a special place to go. The patio is bigger and can accommodate more people there. The food was delicious. Highly recommend going with the chef's special. He out did himself with the flavour combination. Looking forward to our next visit.
