Pitmaster Chicken & BBQ

Very tasty food and very good value. Tried the chicken & pulled pork and they were both really good. Not too saucy, just lots of great flavour. The sides are great too. The service is fast and friendly!

Brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken are our favourites. Some places will soak the meat in sauces, not here. They rely on a quality smoked meat, with just enough marinade for our tastes (not too sweet), and if you prefer extra BBQ sauce, they have spicy and regular available. Friendly staff, awesome service!

Friendly welcoming staff, extremely good value and the bbq ain’t half bad too! All the meats were good - ribs were the stand out! Spotted the pit on the way to kayaking but would make the drive from Ottawa again just to eat here.

Best BBQ in the Ottawa area. If you want authentic BBQ, this is the only place you're going to find it! Only missing a Carolina BBQ sauce, but the other sauces and he meat is amazing.

The fragrance from the parking lot was mouthwatering! Hubby & I have driven past this spot for a while, and have been eager to try it; we had some time today & were able to stop for lunch. Unfortunately for us, the ribs weren't going to be available until around 3pm, and their fried chicken isn't yet available (they're still waiting for their pressure fryer to be installed).
I decided on the 1-meat platter & chose to have brisket; I had baked beans + mac & cheese as my 2 sides. Hubby had the pork sandwich, and he chose baked beans & coleslaw as his sides. Our portions were very generous -- for "small" sides, they were quite big!
The gentleman who took our orders (Bronson) was very friendly & helpful, and overall, we feel that we had good value for the price of our meals.
I didn't have the need to use the restroom, but hubby said it was clean.
We can't wait to come back and try the ribs & chicken ????
