    Good affordable pub food and drinks, patio in summer, great service from friendly staff. Décor slightly faded (so could not give 5 stars), Live music on regular basis. Seems to be local hangout.

    Nice, genuine pub, good drinks. Can be a rowdy crowd sometimes though.

    I'd rather give 2.5 star rating. Went for fish and chips. Fish was excellent. Chips were hard/dry probably old. I've worked in restaurant kitchens and chip stands. These were old, reheated fries with a few fresh ones tossed in which made the contrast all the more evident. My dining companion noticed the same. The waitress never came back to check and it wasn't busy. Very disappointing experience. The fresh fries were good but there were only a few. If you go for fish and chips, make sure you ask if they will make the fries fresh. Too bad in a small town. I won't be back.
