“The service was quick, friendly enough. As a vegetarian I knew I'd have slim pickings for lunch at a traditional pub, so I got the soup and grilled cheese sandwich combo. The grilled cheese was made with Kraft singles slices, so that was quite disappointing. I wouldn't return but only because of my dietary restrictions.”

“We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. There were four adults and 3 kids, the staff was very welcoming and helped us get settled pretty quickly. All four of us had an excellent meal. I ordered the butter chicken, it had great flavor with the perfect amount of spice. I would definitely order it again but the meals my dinning partners got looked really good too. The bacon on the chicken club was thick and cooked to perfection. The lamb burger had great flavor as well, and the chicken pot pie looked amazing. We also ordered a cup of the soup if the day, potato bacon ale. We definitely should have ordered a bowl. It had such great taste,. perfect for dipping your french fries in. We did not realize they closed early on Sundays. We were there close to 3 pm but we never felt rushed and they kept the kitchen open so we could order dessert. The brownie Sunday was a perfect end to our meal. The whip cream on top has an orange flavor to it that is amazing and complimented the chocolate brownie so well. I can't wait to return for more amazing food. :)”

“Mex & Co is situated in a very beautiful setting in the historic center of Perth. The inside of the restaurant is decorated with typical Mexican Paraphernalia, and is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The outside deck and eating area extends on to the canal, and provides some very picturesque views. The Restaurant has a good selection of dishes, and the service is friendly and prompt. The food is a good value for the quantity of food you are getting. Unfortunately the food is just ok (edible). This restaurant would not be in my top 5 places of the approx. 18 Mexican Restaurants which we have frequented in different cities. If we were to go back it would be more for the atmosphere than the food.”

Please don't offer that, I gave you four star mainly because of that. I also tried the haddock and rice, it was really good but the portion of the rice could have been improved. “This diner has very friendly and helpful staff. The food tastes great, and the prices are very reasonable. For $8.99 we received 3 eggs. 2 Slices of toast. A Selection of white, brown or rye bread. The rye bread was no extra charge. This was a nice treat on its own. Ham, Bacon or sausage. I selected bacon, and home-fries sliced as medallions, a refillable coffee, and a nice slice of orange that tasted sweet and accented the plate nicely. Everything was cooked well, and nothing was overcooked or burnt from rushing the process. The french fries with were golden, crispy on the outside and soft (not dry) on the inside. The grilled cheese was nicely done as well, golden, no burning, buttered right to the edge (no dry spots), and no charring. We enjoyed the food and drinks very much. We were able to pay with a debit card.”
