“A nice little place out of the way. Decorated in an antique store setting with a strong UK undertone. Good selection of fresh made food. Lots of seafood/freshwater fish dishes and a rarity wild game! I didn't see any packaged or frozen foodstuffs on the menu like fries or chicken fingers, everything is made fresh. The steak I had was cooked to perfection and very tender. Good selection of beer wine and spirits including wine pairings for every dish. Daily specials. I will go back.”

“We came in there for a quick lunch. We arrived closer to closing time and were quickly notified that they were out of eggplant and pulled pork for the day. We both got half of sandwich, soup and desserts. Fresh sandwich bread was delicious. Also was impressed that when I asked to take cheese of my sandwich, waitress asked if I’m vegan and if she would remove mayo as well and sub it with extra avocado. Everything tasted really good and fresh, ginger and squash soup was very flavourful. Lovely quiet atmosphere. We set outside and it was a nice shady terrace and it felt cool and breezy even on a very hot day. My only complaint would be prices as it was not a lot of food for quite a bit of money. I guess that’s expected from a place on the Main Street of a touristy little town.”

“The service was fast, the food was good and the lady's working were very nice. Amazingly large portion of haddock fish. (see photo), and reasonable sized portions of fries. However, the reason for 4 out of 5 stars is it all was extremely greasy (oily), the fish soaked the paper bag they put it in, the batter on the fish was (in my opinion) overly crunchy, and their prices are a bit high compared to other fish and chip trucks that we have been too. We ordered 2 portions of fish with chips and an extra order of small fries. The total came to very close to $30.”

“Food was fantastic, the atmosphere was the same. Even my kids 13 and 10 thought the same. We were very happy with our meal. The icing on the cake was the maple treats available for purchase. (Fudge, cookies ect) They had it all in singles. So you could buy 1 piece or 10 or 20. Whatever you want. Perfect for a family with kids, who might just want one small treat per kid. This made it really affordable and easy to treat the kids with whatever they wanted. Without breaking the bank. This is my new favorite sugar bush.”
