“The resort is a fishing lodge provided with American meal plan and boat rental service. They have four buildings and a few chalets. Three of them are two storey buildings with no lock rooms. The main building is restaurant, reception and entertainment area. Personnel of the lodge is very helpful. They help carrying luggages and fishing gears to the room and boat. Three meals are delicious and all you can eat. Free packs of ice are provided for takeaway fishes. Fish cleaning service is also provided with minimal charge.”

“Ordered two small pizzas for delivery. My wife got the main Street special, and I got the shrimp and crab. Both were generous with toppings, and fresh and flavourful crusts, and tasty cheese. Pizzas were not greasy at all, but just tasty as can be! Delivery was a bit slow (took just over an hour, but they told us that when we ordered, and we had no issues with that). All in all, a great pizza to eat Lakeside, or anywhere else for that matter”

“Well, we came back earlier last Saturday, so the restaurant wasn't closed! I drove all the way from Toronto with fish and chips on my mind. Steve's in particular, as it's just around the corner where my wife lives. We weren't disappointed! Crispy, crunchy batter combined with lovely chips. Malt vinegar, and tarter sauce, and all for an excellent price! I would definitely suggest you drive to Steve's for your next pang of Fish 'n Chips! Be aware of the hours though.”

“Went for breakfast and was a great greasy diner breakfast. Service was fantastic. Very friendly staff and I never once had to ask for coffee refill. Loved that you can choose between skillet fried potatoes and deep fried and had an option for onions which were delicious sweet onions. They also had a fried bologna option for breakfast meat which I always enjoy when is an option. Would have given five stars except my wife's eggs were not how she ordered but that being said we both really enjoyed our breakfast and will return.”

“It has come to my attention that I am not the only one who has struggled to locate this particular Pita Pit. My eyes were peeled looking for a burrow within the ground that boasted produce that could cease to my stomach's incessant rumble. Alas, I did not find the answer, despite looking in every pit, hollow, trench, or cavity I could find. It was then I turned to one of the locals and asked the commoner if he knew where I could locate the pita pit. What he replied both shocked and appalled me. The pita "pit" was located above ground, atop a hill, in a school. Above ground!!! Terribly inaccurate name.
