“Went a few nights ago with some family because we've regularly gone to The Burger's Priest in another city and love it. The young black lady (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) who served us was extremely kind and patient while we ordered. She offered my younger brother and I complimentary cookies, even asking us about our experience on our way out. The food and service were both phenomenal, can't wait to come again!”

“My go-to stop at the Western Fair Farmers Market. My son loves the pandan macaroons, he gets a fresh one on almost every visit. Chicken Gulai is my absolute favourite, but I have yet to try a dish I didn’t enjoy. Love the frozen product for busy weeknights, better than popping a frozen pizza in the oven. And the peanut sauce is the best I’ve ever tasted.”

“Our server “Alex” was phenomenal. She was very attentive and friendly, and made sure we were always looked after in a timely manner. She was very bubbly and happy and seemed to enjoy her job! Definitely a positive experience versus the other Crabby Joe’s we have been to up on Oxford Street where we’ve encountered some rude, miserable staff. Our food at this location was great, and served to us fast! And Alex often checked up on us to make sure we were okay and satisfied. The atmosphere was good too. We enjoyed our Mohito’s and our $5.00 Jolly Rancher Martini’s! Definitely will be back! Alex deserves a raise.”

“If you have a big appetite looking for a good place to have lunch, King's Buffet is not a bad choice. Quite a bit cheaper than that "other" Chinese buffet place. We went in on a Monday and it was not busy at all. They do not have a huge selection of food but got all the standard fares. Over all food quality is decent. There are pieces of chicken kebab that are visibly not as fresh as some and some dessert pastries seems a bit old, not as flaky as fresh ones. Our waitress was great, very cheerful and made our lunch very pleasant.”

“I decided to check out the new chicken restaurant at 6:30 on a Friday. I arrived to be told, "We are out of chicken for the day". (You're a chicken restaurant!) I decided to settle for fish & chips. I ordered two 1 piece haddock dinners. After paying the cook came out and said, "The pieces are small, so I'll put two small pieces in one order and three in the other". (You're also a fish restaurant!) I get home and find the food shown in this review. The fries were overcooked - but I will admit tasted good. The fish was also tasty but was mostly breading due to the small pieces. $28 The staff were very polite. I'm just not sure how anxious I am to go back.”

“If I had written a review for Mary's Place a year ago, it would have been 5 stars hands down. When I came here before on my 1 hour lunch, I was able to get in, order, eat, pay, and get back to work in time. However, I went here last week with maybe 2-6 customers already in and waited 5 minutes to get my drink order taken (no big deal). At this point, the server wouldn't take my food order saying she'd just take that when she dropped off the drink. 10 minutes later I get my drink and make my food order. 10 minutes later I get my food which was excellent but at this point it was 12:40 and I had to pound it back. I get to the till to pay and im standing there for a solid 8-10 minutes before someone comes up to ring my order in. This place is fine if you aren't on a time limit, but the wait staff are way way slower than they used to be so its not an ideal lunch spot for me anymore.”
