A & K Restaurant

I have been ordering from them for about 5 years, food is always good. My buzzer has never worked and they have no problem calling me to let me know the food is on its way. The gentleman that is always there is always friendly. I love their combos, and they are a good deal. Food is always hot and fresh upon arrival. Going into the restaurant is nice too, I've taken my little girl a few times for some special bonding time and had a great time. Customers are always nice and polite, very family friendly. It's not rowdy or loud, so it's nice to just to be able to sit and relax and enjoy some great food. Also the food isn't super greasy either, so it's easy on your stomach, I've had Chinese food that felt very heavy on my stomach, this food is not like that at all. In fact this was the only chinese food I could stomach when I was pregnant and had very bad morning sickness. The restaurant itself is very clean, and welcoming. I would highly recommend delivery or stopping by, it doesn't make a difference in service or freshness, nor does the time of day, I've ordered super late and the food was just as fresh as it was when I've went for lunch. Portions are also Very good for prices.

Spring rolls were big and there was a lot of shrimp in my chow mein!! Food wasnt soaked in MSG. Pleasantly surprised as much Chinese food places in London sucks! Will buy from there again.

I have ordered take out from there from as far back as 2008!
It was recommended by a roommate at the time, now I'm going to recommend it for yourself! The choices vary from across the board. Great dim sum options, and small lunch/dinner options.. great value for the price!

They're always pretty abrupt on the phone and delivery will usually take the full hour or so they tell you, but it's worth the wait. The staff is super friendly in person and this place is hands down the best restaurant in the city for Chinese take out food. Nothing fancy, just really well cooked and great tasting beef and broccoli, fried rice, chicken balls, wonton soup, etc. They have been my top choice for 15+ years and never disappoint. Highly recommend!

The delivery guy didnt know how much to give back when I gave them a heads up i only had a 100bill. However the food was great the spring rolls were some of the best I have had in a while. We will be ordering again and just have debt handy..
