As a Hungarian my self I can tell you this is the most authentic experience you might find in the province. Great food and great service. Worth every cent.

With over 55 years of service , Budapest serves excellent home cooked Hungarian food. I have been here several times and have always been satisfied by the quantity, quality and service of Budapest. The cabbage soup is tasty, the bread fresh unfortunately not toasted and the sausage spicy. The veal schinchel is my preference which comes in the Budapest platter with all the fixings

The dinner was amazing and authentic as always. Portions are always generous and satisfying. Goulash has and continues to be delightfully delicious. Their homemade walnut cake is dense, yummy and a great way to end your meal. Service is always great, friendly and you are always treated like family. Marika would be proud as her legacy lives on.

It was great!!! The owner was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect with our meals!! Also they were more that happy to accommodate for my girlfriends gluten allergy. The portion sizes were massive and the goulash was delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant is classy, respectful and humble. Each booth makes you feel like you and who your with are you only people in the restaurant. Furthermore, they live music. A professional violinist to play any song you'd request. I love this place and will be back for sure!!!
