Golden City Restaurant

Doesn't taste authentically Chinese. It's very much westernized Chinese food. The veggies are mostly bean sprouts and the flavour is alright but a bit too salty. Portion to price is fair.

We came to visit family here. First time we tried their food. Food was tasty and fresh. Staff is friendly and polite. Fast service. Price was reasonable. Will definitely be coming back for more when we are in London ontario.

The food here taste great and fresh. Not too sweet or greasy like a lot of other places. There my are also pretty fast and cheap so I good place to order from if your in the neighbourhood.

Chinese food is usually bland. NOT HERE!
We have been passing this restaurant by daily for 6 years, never realizing what a diamond it was. For the first time yesterday we decided to try it out and were we pleasantly surprised. We chose the combination platters and got 3 different meals. Living as close to them as I do the food was so hot we needed to put them on trivets to protect our table. The flavour was actually there. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly chicken, not batter. The meat was tender, not chewy. There was so much food in each meal we all had leftovers for lunch. They are also less expensive than other places. No more mandarin restaurant for me.
