Great Wall Chinese Food

Beat Chinese food in London. Been going for over 40 years and now drive in from Delaware it is so good.

My hub went and picked some food up from the great wall for the first time tonight after we read so many positive reviews. They told my hub, after placing the order, it was going to be a half hour, which to me, means its going to be fresh, so we had no issues with fresh food. It was fresh by the time he got it home and we opened it up. The breading is delicious and full of flavour and juicy. The sweet and sour sauce is nice and thick unlike many other chinese places now who have dried out chicken balls and watered down sweet and sour sauce. We ordered chicken wings, chicken balls, chicken fried rice and Szechuan chicken. The wings were made with an interesting twist. To our surprise they were breaded with a much lighter fluffier doughy breading that was so amazing. The Szechuan chicken was great the veggies were very fresh and the sauce was delicious. We will definitely be trying more food from this restaurant.

It's pretty sad that in this day and age, a business can't put up a proper website. I've made many of them on my own and to try and read a menu by zooming into a still picture it just simply annoying. if you're cutting corners on that then I can't imagine what your food might taste like, or what cheap products you're using, even though I've never been there.

So good !!!! I've never been disappointed ordering from here. I moved out of the area and haven't had it in years, well tonight I made the long drive to go get it and I'm pleasantly satisfied. Just exactly as I was hoping for, the same great taste it was years ago.. Huge fan of the spring rolls and chicken fried rice. Also the chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce, just everything is great, highly recommend this restaurant !!!!
