South St. Burger

Just had a 4oz burger combo, first time there, lady at register was so warm and friendly the burger was homemade, organic beef and cooked perfectly, home-cut fries perfectly golden, crispy and hot...just the way they should be. It was freshly cooked and didn't take long. If you are craving a burger go there! I will be back. I hope they maintain these quality standards :)

Update: make sure you ask for fresh fries. Sad to say went for lunch again and they refried old fries and we were really disappointed because they were limp and greasy, we didn't eat them, we should have complained but we felt bad.. it was dead inside so no excuses. Still good, but fresh fries are what make this restaurant special.

Another bistro-burger style chain, South Street allows customers to customize their sandwich with premium toppings for premium prices. However, with traditional chains now offering similar products for less, South Street has failed to stay ahead of the curve. This location has the advantage of being licensed to sell alcohol, which can be nice if you are craving a beer with your burger, but the selection is limited. A fraction of the ambiance of a sports bar with all of the price will likely mean you'd have a better meal and experience at other nearby establishments offering similar fare as well as a wider variety of food and alcohol choices.

Had a great experience here today. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food tasted great, they have some additional condiments to add to your fries/burger which is nice. Can get busy really quickly though. Overall a really nice (aesthetically and quality of food-wise) location????
