Had a great dinner at State & Main in London. Ordered and tried a bunch of different things on the menu, and everything was good.. not great, but def really good. Jalapeño corn bread for the win!

Was previously a great spot for a cozy dinner. Recent visits have been less satisfying with longer wait times for your meal. Not in any hurry to go back.

I love this place, I've been coming here every now and the for a few years even though it's a drive for me. The food has always been very very good and their weekend brunch menu is stellar. The one thing I would say is to stay away from the steaks. They're average steak price but they're not that great. Not seasoned with much and somewhat tough as well. Something I could've done better at home. I would still provide a glowing recommendation to anyone who hasn't tried it because the rest of the menu is that good and the entire staff are some of the most friendly people you'll meet.

We went in for a burger and a steak and could barely hear over the noise, had a kid drop water all over my foot and then the burger was really not to our taste although we ate it anyway.
However....the fries were great, the servers were attentive and with no prompting from us, Manager Mark removed the burger from the bill before he came to find out if there was anything else he could do to make our stay more enjoyable. This was handled in not only a professional way but with a lot of class. Next time we are in London we will definitely give this State and Main another chance to show us what they are capable of. Thanks Mark and the rest of the staff for A1 customer service.
