Fat Olive

Went a couple of weeks ago for SIL #2's birthday and it was wonderful. I had this vodka flavoured pasta which was fabulous. Four of the six got pasta dishes and they were all great. The spaghetti with that huge meatball looked awesome. Excellent service.

Loved this place. Great quality great prices great service. We were bike touring in the area and only expected your usual franchised eateries. Then we landed on the Fat Olive. The food was good and honest great quality and they truly looked after us.
Book on the weekend as it gets busy. I see some reviews say you have to wait but worth it. We were lucky as it was midweek and lunch. I would happily go on the weekend and wait as it was truly worth it... And that's what weekend's are for..totally recommend this place.

Amazing restaurant experience. Had a reserved table for a birthday celebration. Staff was attentive, polite and friendly. Explained menu options well. Food is made from scratch so there naturally is a bit of a wait, but well worth it! Generous portion sizes and gorgeous presentation. Also provided an extra birthday dessert which was a nice surprise. Went on a Wednesday and they closed at 8PM, but didn't make us feel rushed (even though we finished closer to 9). Would recommend to anyone looking for fine Italian cuisine.
