“The only complaint that I have about this McDonald's is that they just make their burgers and chicken burgers way too fast because they are always just thrown together and the toppings all falling out etc.. They certainly don't even try to make the burgers or chicken burgers look like the pictures that look so good on the menu board.. If I see a yummy looking burger but then I order it and PAY for it I don't expect to have to put some of the meat patties as well as most of the lettuce tomatoes etc etc back on my burger before I can eat or by if I don't half of my bun won't be covered with anything not even the meat.”

“This is a smaller location. Nice and clean with friendly staff. There were about 9 tables seated when we ordered. We Kept it simple I had wings and my friend a burger. The food arriving was very slow. 50min we waited. I was disappointed to see just wings on my plate. What happened to maybe a few carrot sticks????. Instead I get a side of hand wipes. The prices are good so maybe you get what you pay for. Simple food! The upside the food was hot.”

Like I thought the watermelon had a lot of seeds until I got closer and the seeds flew away. As well, my husband found a hair in his piece of cake. “There are a lot of activities here. Obviously weather permitting. It was very windy yesterday but the woods cut out the wind so that we had a pleasant walk on snow shoes supplied by the resort. They are working hard to groom a skating rink but again the weather did not cooperate so in 10 minutes we were in Gravenhurst swimming (YMCA) in the morning and back in the afternoon for skating at the community centre. I am waiting to be able to go cross country skiing, as this should be a lovely activity on this property.”

The staff person was super personable and a joy to interact with. Their prices are reasonable and the servings are enormous; be wary of ordering the large as it could feed a small army. Below is the "medium." It easily feeds three to four.”

“I dropped in for a quick lunch and discovered that they made a curried beef dish, so I ordered one. When it arrived it was HUGE and made up with lightly cooked green peppers, red peppers, onions and beef in a brown curry sauce. It was spicy enough for most people but the finest part was the beef. The beef was finely sliced, oh so tender, with a wonderful flavor. The combination of the flavors, the crispness of the fresh vegetables, and the colors all combined into a masterpiece. Bravo.”

“We were a party of 4, out for dinner after moving house. Three burgers, and one 1/2 order of pickerel bites. Burgers were huge, and obviously freshly made, and the pickerel was beautiful. Bonus for me: my tea was brought in a proper 2 cup pot with the bag already in. Great pub/ sports bar, friendly and efficient staff and darn good food! Great pub”
