A Thing For Chocolate

Mmmmm so good, and has amazing vegan options. We went there twice on our weekend-long trip to Ottawa.

The vegan crêpes are delicious. There's a lot of savoury and sweet options that are all great. Coffee is some of the best in the city.

One of the best vegan breakfasts in town! They are super nice too. I dropped my knife and the guy came running with new utensils without skipping a beat.

Delicious crepes! Had both a savory crepe (La Mer), and shared a chocolate one. Both were terrific.

Definitely a good experience, we showed up with a half hour to close and still got the full treatment. Stayed past close and was never asked to hurry or anything of the sort, they just did their thing while we finished up. Had the cheesecake crepe, not so much cheesecake, more like light cream cheese and fruit. A little deceiving but still really delicious, and light. Perfect mix of cheese to fruit to honey. The crepe itself was fresh, warm, and perfectly done. The latte was great, they use great beans. The place has a cozy feel to it. The service was quick and friendly. No issues to speak of. Why 4 stars and not 5? I just didn't get that "wow" feel, but definitely nothing negative to report. Will be back to see what the other crepes are like, as well as the other tasty goodies they had.
