“This establishment definitely deserves the five stars I’ve given them. The second I walked in they were full of smiles and asking how my day was going. I proceeded to order and the person at the front gave me a suggestion to try some of the other food products that they had made. I of course couldn’t say no so I bought a few. Now I’ve been going here since 2013 and never once have I been asked if I was eating there or taking it to-go which isn’t a problem with me at all because I enjoy eating out of the paper bags since it collects the grease or the meat that falls out. Once I paid for my things he asked if I was eating there or to-go and I said I’d be eating there to stay out of the cold. He told me to go sit down and he would bring me my stuff. I was shocked of course because I’ve never had that kind of service at that establishment before. I sat down and he came walking towards me with the biggest smile and a tray in his hands. He set it down and I quickly realized he put napkins there for me and not just on the tray but In a napkin holder, then as another customer came to the counter he told them to wait a second then walked over with a plate of pickles as a side for me. I was utterly impressed and speechless by the amazing customer service I got, I have never gotten that type of service from any establishment I’ve been to and I’m very happy I did.”

Although we had a good experience, it would be even better if the cuisine is more diverse. That's the only reason for the 4 stars and if they are able to improve the cuisine, I'd be happy to give 5. Street parking is available just outside the restaurant. Menu is priced just fine.”

“Poutine was edible. No cheese curds so can u call it a poutine? Or is it like, fries with gravy and some rando cheese, probably shredded cheese. It's cheap so for the price I mean you get what u pay for. I would order again if i was feeling broke again but like it's not the best poutine in the world. Delivery took forever, but at least the driver was somewhat nice. I posted a photo of the poutine. The fries are not crispy at all so keep ur expectations low.”

“Ordered on Uber eats, and tried their beef pies, and a pork burger. Pork burger on the left, beef pies on the right/second picture. Pork burger was on almost a thin English muffin, and the pork just kind of tasted like tortiere, not very flavourful. Very greasy. The beef pies tasted like a the filling of a typical beef dumpling, shaped into a thin hamburger patty, and then wrapped in a greasy Chinese pancake or crepe. Overall, not very impressed. Flavours were meh, very greasy/soggy.”

“Competitively priced. Took the food to go so I didn't have the in restaurant dining experience but the food was really good to say the least. I had a different "go to" spot in the area but Pho La Express has earned my business going forward also. I can say that the restaurant was small and clean, great for a quiet meal. I have been looking for another pho place besides the one that I usually go to and I've been a little disappointed trying out new places but this place really did go beyond my expectations when it comes to portions and flavor.”
