By far the best vegetarian burger and sweet potato fries that I have had in Ottawa.
Deluxe veggie burger is a must have with sweet potato fries and the drink you like.
They now have the fountain drinks too.
I personally didn't like beyond meat much but people who like Harvey's or Tim's may like that too.

Didn't love it. Have had some decent fast food here in the distant past. But not today. We used a coupon for two chicken burgers, $7.99. They were freshly made, but very disappointing. We have to compare to alternate choices here in Ottawa. In comparison, these are worth $1.99 each, no more.

You never know with a franchise operation, but this relatively new A&W is probably the best one I have eaten at in a very long time.
Went for late night bites and the food was simply great. Service might be a bit slower at such a late hour, but that is understandable. Quality of the food more than justifies the somewhat longer wait time.

I feel the choice of paper straws to be unfortunate, as they spoil the taste of the drink...I quickly discarded mine

Food is mouthwatering. I tried their burger and fries, both were good in taste. Fries were very crispy. I’m really in love with this place. Not only the food makes you fall for this place, but also the amazingly helpful and polite staff does that.

My Dad brought me here for the first time today and I was amazed! Keep in mind, it is very difficult to impress me with food to the point where I rate it 5 stars, so let me describe the experience...

Very clean restaurant, friendly staff and I just love how unique the presentation of the fries and drink are. We both got the Teen Burger combo since we had coupons and the burgers were perfect! I could see the natural cheese that fully wrapped around the Burger patty which complimented by a generous amount of other toppings and assembled in a way you'd see in a commercial. The A&W Root beer we all know and love is outstanding as always but the freezer chilled mug in the glass took it to a whole new level. Finally, the fries were crispy, really hot, and served in this deep frying basket as a unique presentation so bonus points there. After you're done eating, there is a corner where you can place your mug and basket into a plastic container that slides into the kitchen on a rolling rack, garbage disposal, and your tray goes right on top. Close to there, are also all your condiments and a baby chair area as well as sinks to wash your hands without needing to go into the bathroom after you're done eating. The menu has lots of variety from vegetarian, chicken and breakfast so there's something here for everyone.

To conclude, I've been to A&W's before but nothing like this before and I'm very impressed, I will definitely be coming back here! Well done, A&W!
