Caravela Restaurante

Visited last evening for the first time. Tiny place but nice decor and very comfortable. The atmosphere was great and the staff were attentive. Mussels and Shrimp cakes were delicious. The main course was a hit with all of us and the cheesecake desert was decadent. The only complaint is the frozen vegetables. For the price, they should be fresh. We'll be back.

My massage therapist Lou highly recommended this place for their grilled octopus. She was so right. The food was amazing. I will recommend this place to all my family, friends and clients.

I really like their rabbit dish and same with their octopus appetizer too. My fave meat and seafood :)

My wife and I enjoyed it very much - 1st visit. Restaurant is clean and inviting. Service was prompt and very pleasant. Starters were Shrimp as well as cheese platter - both very tasty. Main was lamb shank, which I thought was excellent. Both meal and wine prices are very reasonable. Definitely will return to try the piri-piri chicken and octopus.

Took my wife here for a date a few nights ago. She had a steak which was wonderfully grilled and I got the seafood platter. My only gripe is I wish there was more to the platter ( its 38$) as I quickly devoured what shrimp and lobster was there. It could have used more rice and/or veg. The desert was really good too I had some coffee cake which was nice and light. The only other hiccup about service was it took forever to pay the bill when the restaurant was full the two staff seemed overwhelmed and overloaded. Will go back but there is room for improvement.
