I booked a reservation 2 weeks in advance for brunch this weekend. Our party of 7 had to wait 25 minutes beyond our reservation time of 10.30 to be seated. We were given a very awkward table arrangement (booth with extra chairs placed around the end). When I asked why we weren’t given a regular table arrangement since we had a reservation, it became clear that our reservation had been lost somehow. I wish this had been explained when I told the hostess desk that we had a reservation! Rather than wait even longer for another table we sat down. It took 10 minutes for the server to offer coffee or water. She completely forgot the water until later. The breakfast was excellent. I’ve eaten at chances R before but only as part of a couple. Usually the staff is super, and because I’ve seen many larger parties there I just assumed they were good at handling groups especially those with reservations.

We were in from out of town for Thanksgiving weekend and had a great experience. I called for information and the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful. We enjoyed a great turkey dinner for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was nice and our server was very friendly and gave us some suggestions on things in the area. Highly recommended we will definitely return when in town again. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving away from home so nice.

Been coming for years, great service and great food as always. One of the first places I came to eat when I moved to the city. We had Harley as our waitress tonight and she was just the absolute best. Never a bad time or a bad meal here!

This is a busy place but we were seated very quickly in a comfortable booth in the corner. Speedy and friendly service and drinks arrived quickly. The food was delicious and served hot. Try the fish and chips. Dessert was really tasty.
