Chopped Leaf

3 Stars may be a bit harsh, 3.5 would be more appropriate. I have no complaints about the service or the venue, but the value of the food was so-so and the specific dishes I ordered didn't impress. I wasn't unhappy with my experience but I'm in no hurry to go back.

The soup was good but a little under seasoned, it needed some salt, and the portion is rather small. The sandwich is where they really missed the mark. The spicy chicken sandwich was composed of a chipotle ranch, chunks of chicken, sliced raw mushroom, grated cheddar cheese and onions served on sourdough toast. The whole combination was just all around pretty bland. It could have really used some lettuce or tomato or something to give it a little texture and flavour. Even the onion was really mild in flavour...it was like eating toast with a nice spicy ranch spread.

That being said it wasn't bad, it was just poor value when there is a better sandwich at a fraction of the price accorss the street.

Grest place. Delicious and healthy. Service was excellent. The young man came around the counter and walked us through the menu. We had a southwest bowl and a tuna melt. The water they have with lemon and cucumber is amazing and they have free refills. Go to this place. It's great.

This salad bar is great. The customer service is amazing and the different flavor profiles that are presented are well made. If this is your first time, get the Bangkok salad (left). A close second is the southwestern (right).

randomly stopped here for a late quick lunch after grabbing a battery from the hobby shop next door. was not disappointed. noticed the weird negative reviews and found my experience was no where near what those people posted. ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. waited a couple of minutes and a perfectly made toasted sandwich appeared in front of me. for a bottle of chocolate milk and a well portioned chicken sandwich i paid $12.71 not bad! and its better than a starbucks meal :). bathroom was clean and is wheelchair accessible. beverage selection could be improved.
