The pork shanks were tender. The substitution was probably a good thing because the sides were the creamy ramp farfalle and the tempura cauliflower, both packing tons of fat, calories and yes flavor. There was a third item on the board that I could not quite place - sort of a slaw. This is truly a great meal and something of a bargain at the price

My wife and I have eaten here a few times . It’s a great place - food is excellent - staff was friendly - it’s not overly large so it’s often quite full and I would recommend a reservation. Ambiance isn’t posh but comfortable. A bit pricy but if you like good food then it’s worth it.

We enjoyed a beautiful brunch at the Fraser Cafe this past weekend. Each dish was delicious, and the portions were generous. We shared two plates of scotch eggs and they were hands down the best I've ever had. The servers were friendly, patient, and accommodating. I'm looking forward to going back!

Excellent food! Friendly staff that pay close attention to detail and cater to your every need. Enjoy the rotating menu, never have the same meal twice. Certainly get the quality you are paying for. Top spot in the Ottawa area for a nice evening out.

The food is creative, and absolutely delicious! Best oysters I ever had. They were so fresh and tasty. The menu is really interesting and diverse and difficult to make a choice! You want to try everything! I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly with tasty accompaniments. The atmosphere was great and beautiful decorated. Excellent service! A must!
