Fratelli Kanata

This is such a lovely restaurant. The ambience was lovely - the dim lighting adds a cozy vibe. The service was excellent. We were greeted within a few minutes of arriving and seated. I ordered the Alessandro pizza and it was delicious. The serving was huge so I took half home for lunch the next day. Great date night spot! Will be back for sure.

Great meal and service. Found it a little expensive compared to another favorite place on Preston Street. However I had a 50$ gift card from a silent auction at the OHS Garden Party... so put it to good use!
Being Saturday night the place was very loud... hard to talk at times.

First time. Chicken parmigiana. Not overwhelmed. Cheesecake however was A+. A little pricey for quality. Guests loved their meals.

I've been here a few times and the food is really touch and go. Last night we had the meatballs as a starter and they were very dry. The accompanying sauce tasted very watered down. almost as if it had been frozen. I has the seafood pasta and it was fine. The sauce had very little flavour but the seafood tasted nice and the pasted was cooked nicely. The staff are the real winners here. Friendly, helpful and attentive. I'm not sure if I'll go back though. Maybe if every other place is full.

Very nice Italian restaurant! While it was a little busy and loud for my preference it was expected for the time I went (Saturday past 7pm), the food was absolutely incredible and service welcoming. A couple times the bottle of water was left empty but this can be forgiven since the place was very busy. A definite recommendation, although I suggest going at a less busy time. If you are planning to go during its busiest hours make reservations! (I did personally so I cannot say what their wait times are like)
