Lone Star Texas Grill

I am basing this review on my visit on a Monday evening. The restaurant was not busy so the service was extremely fast. The food and the drinks came by in a blink of an eye. The waitress was really nice and attentive and provided my children with lots of attention. The enchiladas and fajitas were hot and prepared correctly. I will be returning for future visits.

Went to the Orleans location and service was amazing! We had a large table and the server was very attentive and friendly. All of our food was prepared well and tasted delicious. I tried the new beyond meat fajitas, it's a great dish and very well prepared!

This is a good place to eat, service is good and the prices are right. However, why three stars? It is horribly noisy, I mean blow your brains out noisy. At least they could have added a few baffles on the ceiling to cut the noise but there was a constant din that can't be avoided. I say go to lonestar for the good food just not this one. Examples of inexpensive solutions I have seen.

This newer location already has an above-average team of staff running a tight ship. Servers are always very friendly, attentive and patient with any requests I might have (making dishes vegan-friendly). Food is always delicious and they have a great drink menu with something for everyone at the table (both alcoholic and alcohol-free). Only have to give it 4 stars because they still have zero vegan desserts.

I’ve been here many times and the food is very good. However they have a system where the server takes your order and brings your drinks( sometimes it’s someone else who brings your drinks), someone else brings your food and then you rarely see your server again. They just disappear and it’s like pulling teeth to get your server’s attention. I always end up asking a food runner for something like condiments. Had to ask twice for a refill on the drink. Came over and asked if my friend wanted another beer but didn’t acknowledge or look at me and asked if I wanted a refill. This may be because I was only drinking water and doesn’t add to their alcohol revenue. My only complaint is there is a lack of attention with the actual server because they are running off taking other orders while food is served by someone else. This leads to not having a lot of rapport with the designated server which becomes impersonal. I will return but there is no personal attentiveness by the server I’ve received at other restaurants. I’m assuming that’s the way they roll because they are extremely busy and have to have systems in place. Good food but don’t expect a lot of attentive service.
