Mezbaan Restaurant

From feel-like-family customer service to incredible food Mezbaan is a new, and well deserved "Fancy" favourite. This was our first experience with Afghan cuisine and the staff was kind and patient with our questions. They recommended some delicious dishes and they exceeded our expectations and live up to the hype.

If you aren't already visiting Mezbaan monthly (if not more often) you need to. Can't wait to try everything on the menu!

our dinners were amazing! Lamb tikka melted in my mouth. Chicken Tandoori excellent as well. Very tasty and so tender.

The best Afghan restaurant in Ottawa with the best Afghan food - no where else compares once you try that Kebab.
The staff are organized, quick and customer oriented. The food is fresh, the taste is impeccable, and the portions are huge. The restaurant is well furnished, bright and squeaky clean. Mezbaan staff make everyone who walk in their restaurant feel like family and prepare their food like you're a guest in their home. True Afghan hospitality --thank you!

I went once and was HOOKED. This place is amazing!!
The food is delicious and full of such amazing flavours and aromas.
The service and staff are very friendly. My first time there the gentleman walked me and my family through the menu explaining the dishes and how they're prepared.
THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE - the price is very fair for the size and quality of food you're getting.
The veggie platter with eggplant is outstanding. I've never had eggplant that was oozing with so much deliciousness.
The location is so clean and has a nice modern look.

Mezbaan was recommended to me by a work colleague. I brought my family and in-laws here yesterday for a family celebration and to try something different (we do not have prior familiarity with Afghan cuisine). What can I say? It was great! The food was fresh, delicious and abundant (portions were very generous). Our server was courteous and friendly - great service! We will definitely come back.
