Moe's World Famous Newport Restaurant & Donna’s Express

Best Pizza in town. Service was very good and the Mgr Peter and servers are one of the best I've experienced in Ottawa. Owned by the famous Moe who is a philanthropist and real person who looks at his customers as people and not $$$

We were looking for a patio, found Moe's and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and a cozy patio. We had the calamari to start, which was delicious, especially since it came with a nice salad! Pizza was great, the kind that has light dough, lots of toppings but not crazy greasy.

Finally we know where is the best thin crust pizza in Ottawa. We did try many places over the years, but never had found similar taste as in Italy. This one finally delivered, we had their pizza Stephania. Then we had a quite good apple pie with vanilla ice cream - also very good.
Our server Sam was excellent, we actually had him for two days in a row. I can not say much for the rest of the menu, this is still to be tested, as we will be back. The ambience is simple, a bit outdated, but obviously with many regular customers that are here for the good food.

Had a wonderful lunch experience at the Newport today! The filet of sole salad was excellent, our server Jen was very friendly, prompt and provided elite service. Highly recommend the Newport!

Amazing food with great service! My husband had the tortellini and I have the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. We also split a small salad. The pasta was the perfect temperature, hot but not tongue burning hot.Our server Linda was awesome at recommending suggestions and portion sizes. Super friendly environment. Would for sure go back.
