(October 29, 2019, 11:55 am)I had been wanting to try Popeye’s for a while, even with the less than stellar reviews. Gave it a try on a quiet Sunday for lunch. Showed up wanting to get some chicken tenders or one of those famous sandwiches. And of course - they had NEITHER.
How does a fast food chicken place NOT have two popular chicken items available?? And it’s not like there was some mad lunch rush going on. The place was empty.
Had some nuggets. They were pretty good but not what we had wanted. The portion size of the sides was small. -

(October 22, 2019, 3:18 pm)Ordered 2 pieces, paid 2.69 plus 3.39 (Monday). Daily special was 3 pieces for 4.99. Would have been nice to have been informed of that before ordering and paying. The plastic forks are completely useless for eating the chicken. The teeth of the fork will bend on the first or second try. This is a waste of unusable plastic. No paper in the toilet (11a.m.). The chicken itself tasted good but overall disappointed with the entire experience.
