Red Lobster

I generally enjoy the food here etc but this location seems especially loud and busy. There was a huge family gathering the last time we came with several kids yelling and running around that I found detracted from the dining experience since we were trying to have a fairly romantic evening. We were not able to move tables when we asked.

Although very impressed with the meal and service our first visit at this location, the 2nd time around unfortunately didn't measure up. Specifically, my lobster dish was overcooked and shriveled up. The Shep looked thrown on the plate. Horrible presentation. Would have brought to servers attention if she came by regularly which she didn't. Had high expectations as first visit was fantastic however this time was sorely disappointed.

Food was good, the Caesar salad plus my lunch-sized grilled fish. Our waiter had character and exuberance to spare, and was entertaining although very slightly forgetful. Others in our group had appetizers (seafood stuffed mushrooms) and enjoyed them. Certainly will come back.

Me and my fiancée went out for dinner at this location tonight. We had a gift card that we were given as a bridal shower gift and that’s most of the reason we went in the first place (we’re saving money). The gift card was not activated. The manager let me know that this is a common issue with this specific card company. He was super professional, and reasoned with us with kindness, despite our obvious annoyance. The service and understanding of our issue alone will ensure I will return. Very kind, very understanding, and obviously the food was fantastic. Great customer service and staff. 5/5 review from me. I used to love Red Lobster and went there all the time. But that was years ago. I went for lunch with a friend and must say for the price was disappointed! I ordered a cup of clam chowder, not bad, and fish and chips. Not their forte!! Boring presentation, example no coleslaw and my point is, I could have ordered this in any corner restaurant and it probably would have tasted better. Way too expensive for what you get. Nothing tasted delicious!! Blah would be the best word!! Service was good though.
