Stella Luna Gelato Cafe

Love the vibe of this place. I was on a work trip and met up with a former colleague here. The breakfast wrap was surprisingly good even if it didn't look that appetizing.

Servers were really nice and helpful, although the service was a bit slow. My colleague waited forever to get her frappuccino and when she followed up, they seemed to have forgotten.

Stopped in to try their pregnancy gelato for my spouse and decided to try the peanut butter banana for myself. Absolutely delicious! The staff were cheery and helpful, the whole atmosphere was great. All in all it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

It’s always a treat at Stella Luna! So many great flavours, and they always change with the seasons. I love the product so much but the line-up/ordering process can be frustrating, especially when it’s busy. A simple solution for hungry visitors... a giant chalkboard of gelato flavours to avoid crowding at the counter. ???????? It would make the process so much smoother.

Just upon seeing the front door of Stella Luna you will know you are in a place of great gelato, how are they marked by their door frame?

There is always a 10 foot line in front of their store going in!

No other store around that part of Bank Street gets that kind of line up!

The Gelato is really good, my personal favorite is Birthday Cake but it's not always present in the display bin.

Stella Luna is also on the pricey side , after taxes a one scoop cone could come up to 8 -10.00 dollars , so keep in mind to have a couple of 10s handy for their price range but you won't be disappointed with their quality of ice cream!

It's hard to believe that a Family owned, award winning gelato cafe can be found here right in Ottawa.
This place is always packed and the line up moves pretty fast. Coffee and sandwiches are served. Waffles are amazing too. But the Gelato is the best! Great flavours, good layout of space and interesting interior decorations.
This would probably be my favorite stop whenever I'm in Ottawa now.
