Thai Flame Restaurant

The restaurant owner is very kind and very friendly. The restaurant itself has a very casual and cozy, pleasant atmosphere. Romantic even. Don't be fooled by its location as a spot within a small row of other boutique stores/businesses.

While he is familiar with Thai food and culture, the owner is from Laos, so his cuisine was more of a mix of the flavors of both countries.

Still tasty, nonetheless.

The prices were high, in our opinion. We were confused by the website which listed the lunch pricing, without realising that. Our take-out meal for 4 (3 soups, 3 sides, 2 salads, 4 main dishes) came to $175. The most we've ever spent on Thai food!

Has to be the best Thai in Ottawa. Service is amazing, the food is out of this world. Think we're going to buy some of their hot sauce, it's that good. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Second time eating here. First time a week ago. Fantastic food and service both times. Brought my dad fir his 88th birthday. First time he's had Thai food.
We are family style so he had the opportunity to enjoy different dishes-which he did! He even ate all the sauces left on serving dishes with rice.
I can confidently recommend Thai Flame.

I'm visiting Ottawa and I love Thia food. It had lots of flavour and the food looked beautiful. We has it for take out and I don't know if it's me but the dinner menu I found really expensive for the little that we got for take out. It's the only reason why I'm not giving the 5 stars! Everything was great, even the customer service!

Best Thai food in the area. I have only been around for a month an already spend over $100 here. The staff is friendly, the food tastes good and is reasonably priced. There are many vegetarian options and they know not to use fish or oyster sauce.
