“The food is quite good and the prices are even better. I had The Ultimate Breakfast, which includes 2 eggs, ham, bacon, and sausage, along with 2 pieces of toast and 2 pancakes or French Toast, with coffee. The cost for the breakfast was $9.95, which is considerably less than other restaurants in the area. The only downside this morning was that it was quite hot in the restaurant, but they did close the doors and start up the A/C shortly after we arrived, but it was still very warm while we were eating, otherwise, it would have been 5 stars. I recommend Fontenelle for breakfast and I'm sure most will like it as well.”

“Fantastic, home made restaurant. Get the platter, vegetarian or with meat. It's good for about 2 or 3 people, comes with a great mix, and has room for dessert and coffee. Probably the strongest coffee in Ottawa! Make sure to read up or ask how to eat Ethiopian if you've never been, but this is a fantastic casual family-run restaurant that I completely recommend. The Mead is really sweet, which is totally my style. Will definitely bring a larger group when I'm back in town.”

The crust was lovely and crunchy and the toppings generous, but I found the cheese was excessive and the worst was the main soft dough which was in need of flavour and salt. “This place is one of the most delicious middle eastern food restaurants. The servings amounts are huge and rarely finish my plate. Their nan bread is freshly baked and you get to eat it fresh out of the oven while it is still steaming hot. Their lamb shank or mix grill are fantastic. “Lovely little restaurant. Went here on a Saturday evening around 7:45 pm and it was completely empty. We had the restaurant all to ourselves. It was nice having a restaurant to ourselves as it felt very private and exclusive. Although the small restaurant and not so nice decorations and ambiance, the food is very good. A la carte style menu with many options. Some great options for vegetarians as well. They also do delivery for those interested, but not on any delivery apps. Great portion sizes and service. The only thing was that the tea came in very tiny cups, but otherwise amazing experience. Highly recommend this little gem!”

“Fantastic Pho, the broth is fabulously flavoured. Parking on a Saturday around dinner time wasn’t too bad either. The staff was politely, courteous and pretty decent with English which is something that I find challenging. It has your typical china town feel too, and the portions are great. Pho for two with an appetizer was less than $30! Can’t go wrong!”
