“Good diner breakfast. The place itself is small with only 4 tables I think, or maybe 5, but there are stools at a bar to eat at as well. Prices are quite reasonable. No kids menu but we ordered the small breakfast for the kids and it was a lot of food for a good price. I'd happily eat here again.”

“Despite all the negative reviews, my girlfriend and I stopped by here for dinner. It seems that due to low capacity/staff that they require non-guests to make reservations (preferably two hours ahead) which is understandable for a small restaurant. The food is more like 4 star quality but the view is incredible! Will definitely come back if we’re in the Kawarthas area again.”

“This place is a short drive (5 min) from the Pine Vista Resort. It is a restaurant and market. I only used it as a market so I won't talk about the restaurant. First, the reason for going was the ice cream. There were about 8 different flavour options and sizes from kiddie to large. The sizes are quite large. The kiddie come was plenty for several adults in our group. They also will let you pick two flavours for any size. The prices were reasonable, especially given the sizes. While there we also picked up some basic groceries. This is not a grocery store, but they had a reasonable selection of basics of you were stuck for something.”

“OK, it's not Bigga Joe's anymore it's the Lite House! The new owners just opened up a few days before we stopped in for a Sunday meal. I have been stopping in to Bigga Joe's for years, getting their panzerottis because they were just simply awesome, but was a bit unsure when I pulled up this week and saw that the ownership had changed. The panzo I had was absolutely superb, fresh ingredients and with a very tasty crust! My partner's pizza was also very good, and the service was excellent (we were the only ones in there that afternoon). Highly recommended, try this place out! ”

“I've come here a few times. Never disappointed. Consistently good. Some burger joints are hit and miss but these folks are always on point. Pleasant staff. As one gets older you just can't pack it back like you were a teen so be forewarned, the burgers are big and the portion of fries is bigger. Next time in my wife and I will split the fries. As Norwood gets bier I'm hoping others restaurants get with the game plan and serve good food and have excellent service likes these folks.”

“Saw these guys at the Havelock Farmer & Artisan Market on Friday. Their outrageous smoker caught my eye so my wife and I wound up trying a couple of pulled pork on a bun. While they were getting things ready I asked a few questions and got a tour of the smoker and how they built it. Great people and outstanding pulled pork. Will definitely look them up for some BBQ takeout in Norwood.”

“We were a large group and a reservation was booked in advance for breakfast. Their staff were pleasant and very attentive even though they had plenty of other tables to serve. We started with drinks coffee, tea, juice, milk, water...and were given the time for our party to arrive to make our orders. This restaurant staff were well organize and were able to serve us all in a timely manner and we were able to get multiple bills. The restaurant was clean as well as the washrooms and this place has a has a large parking lot. I would highly recommend this place to others.”
