“The building has two entrances: one to the coffee and sandwich shop and the other to the restaurant. Same owners. The pub is an excellent English pub. Nice decor and very friendly service and patrons. Full bar: liquor, beer and wine. Interesting menu. The items we ordered were prepared so well and tasted so good. Some of the best English food we have had. The Yorkshire pudding was cooked to perfection. The fish and chips was lightly battered and very crispy with juicy fish inside. The sticky toffee was well prepared and so tasty!”

“They just celebrated their 36th anniversary and it shows (and I mean that in a highly positive way). The place is a total time warp to the small town Chinese restaurants of the past. Complete with diner counter and old old school coolers. I loved it! The decor aside the food was delicious, hot and fresh cooked. Prices were reasonable for the quality you get. Portions are not large, but filling. Service was not talkative, but friendly. We will definitely return next time we are in town.”

“Not knowing what to expect being a first time customer. Very Very Impressed with the care the team took when food preparing . I was at a position to see all that was happening in the kitchen . First I was impressed with the staff washing their hands more than once . Second there was a young woman making sandwiches and a young gentleman over her reaching down helping her out .. it was neat to see because he was tall and was able to assist her in making the sandwiches. Very good food .. We share our food and both my husband and I loved the bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich and the crunch of the bread .. This restaurant is really great .. they have seating for outside and in ... it was a lovely day and people were able to sit outside .. Thank You Nutty Bean Cafe for a Lovely First Time Visit .. when we are in town we will be coming back to eat .”

“Casual local place. Fairly small, but we'll kept. Service was friendly. There was a good selection on the menu. They welcomed my kids without blinking. I had a delicious burger, which for some reason I expected. My family had a variety of seafood which unexpectedly was very good. The Cesar salad was excellent. There was a kids menu that worked for my kids other then the portions being a bit small, though maybe my kids are just big eaters. They were flexible as there was still a special on the board from the night before. Our server quickly checked with her manager and they gave us the special. All and all we would consider retraining specifically because it was kid friendly.”

“Subs are good if eaten same day. I find the bread goes soggy on edges if left in fridge overnight. Unavoidable I suppose on Subway's defence. I could ask for condiments on the side as well, that couldn't hurt. Tons of topping choices, bread options and heating methods available. Frankly, I've gained a new appreciation for Subway's food options ever since they quit cutting that pie sized chunk out of top of the bun. One of my offside pet peeves I suppose, it kept me from choosing them vs other sub shop choices. Now, I rest well at night knowing they cut sub buns accurately, lol.”
