“Great breakfast burger! We stopped in for breakfast and I didn’t feel like having just eggs. I heard about their cheese burgers (and yes they have real cheese) so I gave it a go and was not disappointed. Cheese burger made for a king! Very flavourful and loaded!!! I would definitely recommend it! Kept me going all day; I didn’t need a lunch. The bathrooms need updating and repair but remember if you come here you’re in the country; it’s not a fantasy place. Our server, Brenda, was very nice and service very good and quick. I would return for the burger alone!”

“This restaurant is spotless!!! We had club house sandwiches, delicious! Could have shared one as the helpings were really generous. Also had a milkshake and it was made with real ice cream. Room in the parking lot to pull in the boat that we were trailering. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Breakfast special, 2 eggs, sausage, home fried potatoes with onions (optional) and toast was only $6.99 (you can choose bacon or ham, or beans instead of potatoes) and was very, very good! Wednesdays they have a type of open mic music. Older crowd mostly, singing country, guitars sounded awesome! Very friendly, some couples actually dancing. What a truly nice experience. Made me realize how fortunate I am to live up here vs the city.”

Speaking of the food, it was probably like a 6.5 on a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 is taco bell, and 10 is celebrity Chef Ramsay. The beer was very interesting and good, if you like beer go to this pub. It cost 6 dollars to add tofu to a meal which is insane. It was really disappointing as the food looked amazing coming out. The drinks were really good though....cinnamon martini was amazing.”

We took their recommendations, trying one each of steak, pork, chicken, and beef, with several mouth watering garnishes (and eye watering in a few cases). The pickled onions and jalepenos were our favourite. Sharing 4 tacos and a wonderful mango salad set us back $20 (daily special). Three pops and tip put it just over $30 but I'd say it was money well spent.”
