I didn't have a reservation but I called them up to see if they could seat us. They told us to come over, managed to find a spot for us, and couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We loved the ambience, super cute place and really cozy decor. Loved the family atmosphere. The food was amazing, the charcuterie board is unreal, the service was fantastic. Absolutely loved our dining experience here, can't wait to come back and highly recommended to all.

We have been to several restaurants in Picton so far but this place is by far the best place I've been to so far. The chef and food creations are superb. I counted seating for 20 or fewer so you can be sure to get very good service. The cook does an amazing job with herbs and spices . The restaurant enticed us into it when we walked past and got a whiff of the food being cooked in the kitchen. Well done Marans. We'll be back!

Dropped by for just a salad and coffee. Generous salad, with unusual tasty dressing. Coffee superb. Service exemplary. Atmosphere relaxed and friendly.

Girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place for a late dinner after a nice long afternoon at Sandbanks and what a great find! Beautiful evening, we sat on the patio and had an excellent experience. Ordered the Sesame mushroom udon bowl and substituted the tofu for chicken. It was a nice change from a typical dish you find on restaurant menus and the flavour was fantastic. The other entree we ordered was the orange and fig chicken which was a bit on the sweeter side but spicy all at the same time and very tasty. There was only us two and a table of about 6 on the patio with one server taking care of us who seemed a bit overwhelmed as she was tending to tables inside the restaurant as well therefore service was on the slower side. Only other change I would recommend is making people aware that the menu posted on the outside of the restaurant is a lunch menu (not labeled) and dinner pricing is significantly more pricey at $21-26/plate compared to $15-16 for lunch entrees which drew us in. Maybe give people a lunch size or dinner portion to choose from? The lunch menu I found to have more appealing options but our server was accommodating to provide minor alternatives. You pay for what you get as they say and the quality was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Was thrilled to find this place while looking for dinner while in town for the night. Not a large place, but the staff, ambiance and menu are all top notch. Fantastic charcuterie board including some amazing jams made by the head chef from his farm. There are a limited number of options on the menu but they cover a wide range of cuisines and flavours, and more importantly every one we ordered at our table tasted fantastic. Definitely recommend the rhubarb cake dessert if it's available.
