“My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner last Friday, and overheard the neighbouring table raving about the Haddock and chips. I had delicious Tuna Ahi and Scallops cooked to perfection. My wife’s shellfish allergies were carefully considered, settling on a nice Ceasar and excellent grilled Atlantic Salmon. Service was very prompt and friendly. Excellent local wines offered. Enjoyed Broken Stone Riesling and Sans Chen Chardonnay.”

“Due to some of the lower rated reviews, I was almost about to pass on this place but I’m glad I didn’t! I’ve heard excellent things about the wood fire pizzas and they were delicious! “This place is the new restaurant at Keint-He winery. The food here was excellent. The Mac and Cheese with brisket was rich creamy, smokey with just a hint of zing. The fried chicken was juicy, crispy and very tasty. Honestly it was excellent fried chicken. Served with a spicy slaw and home made chips. Try a bottle of chardonnay to accompany, you will love it. I cannot recommend this place enough for lunch in the county.”

“An amazing small cafe in Wellington that is my go to every time I'm at the cottage or out doing wine tours. I recommend going early morning to avoid disappointment as they make bagels and practically everything fresh and if they run out, you'd have to check back for it a day after. When I come to the cafe there's usually a long line out the door and limited seating indoors and at the outdoor patio so have a friend save your seat while you wait in line. The line usually moves quick with the help of a hostess that directs the line and answers any questions that you may have. So the service is pretty good. My favourite order is the salmon bagel which is simply delicious. I can also recommend the French toast with real maple syrup and berries. I feel like literally anything you order here tastes fresh and wholesome. I ordered some decadent baked treats to go which were also very tasty. I highly recommend you check this cafe out if you're in Wellington because you won't be disappointed!”

“This review is for the restaurant as we only came to eat and not stay in the hotel. The brunch was fantastic and comes with an incredible view of Lake Ontario. The entire atmosphere in the restaurant was great, sitting out on the patio is a must on a summer's day. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was great. I HIGHLY recommend coming to this spot if you are in Prince Edward County.”

“Visited with my wife on our first trip away from the kids and we were very pleased. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a big smile and an enchanting aroma. The decor is very warm and pretty. It’s a perfect level of fancy for the county. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken very fast, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. We shared very fresh tasting watermelon salad. I got the seafood pasta and my wife ordered the ratatouille. Both came out fast and hot and were very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!”

“We shared a large large barbecue chicken pizza between two people. The size was comparable to other restaurants. the pizza was very good not too greasy, perfect sauce and toppings with thinner crust and it was perfect for a lunch. “This place was amazing! Sadly under staffed, poor guy was run off his feet doing everything but inflatables was amazingly fun! If I were to give a 5th star it would be to update the wooden planks when you pay, remove the stones to make the family’s of those sitting in the picnic tables easier to enter the water. I also thing that a couple floats needed flipping back over and inflated. But super fun place! I will return next summer!”

“My partner and I had an amazing time at the Sand and Pearl Oyster Bar for lunch! We feasted on amazing sea food and had THEE BEST fish and chips I have ever had in my life. The staff and owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their fresh variety of oysters and daily vegetables. “This restaurant is between 3 to 3.5 stars. The location is super pretty and the rustic setting adds to the charm. The sunset was gorgeous! The food was tasty, we all enjoyed our meals. The service is rather unpleasant. The server did not want to be there, did not want to work, did not want to talk or serve us. She did the bare minimum to take the order. The plates were not cleared, the drinks were not replenished. We had to wait for everything and ask several times, even desserts took forever. The restaurant was 1/4 full with several servers, so it was not busy to warrant such degree of neglect. Looked like she had better things to do and I am surprised they didn't just send her home if she was having such a bad day.”
