Montana's

I had the chicken tacos with a side salad. The flavours were amazing in the tacos and they're definitely a new favourite. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only critique I'd have is that service is on the slower side but this is a common pitfalls with every Montana's I've been to.

Disappointing. Their steak event is on. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly, medium rare. My son's on the other hand was more medium well to well. We sent it back for another...also asked if they could not put the pepper spice on. Apparently, the steaks are pre-seasoned which I found a little surprising and disappointing. The second steak came out a little better, but still not medium rare. We said we'd take it anyway, and got it to go, because by this time we had finished everything else. They did take it off the bill, without us asking, and even though we kept it, which was nice, and the waiter was great (Thanks Jay!). But, if you have a steak event...you should be able to cook a steak properly...at least on the second try. It's not that difficult...just use a thermometer!

Great place with genuinely noteworthy food and excellent staff! Detailed review of atmosphere, service, and food below:

Atmosphere: The dining and bar areas transition very smoothly into each other - booths on the far side, flowing into high tables with stools, then into a full bar. This is great and allows families to eat without disturbing anyone there to watch the game, and vice versa. It's no noisier than you'd expect for a busy and popular place, but kids with sensory issues may be overwhelmed.

Service: We came on a Saturday night, right at 5:30, and even though it was was busy, we were greeted and seated within three minutes. The service was very fast and wonderfully friendly - our server Jen was fantastic and extremely accommodating, as were all other staff we interacted with.

Food: Genuinely noteworthy! The kids meals were generously sized and obviously made and plated with care - as were the adult meals. I came out delightfully surprised by how great our meal was - try the honey garlic ribs!

Overall, I would highly recommend this Montana's for families, couples, and solos alike. Truly a great experience.
