Oishi Maki

The food here is amazing. I am a regular with my wife and it is always amazing. Although we went here tonight and were greeted with an unexpected attitude from one of the waitresses. The food was still amazing throughout dinner. Although when I asked for extra napkins I was given a " sure" and she walked away without returning with the napkins. I asked for a refill and was asked what I was drinking, I told her a Pepsi. She returned 20 minutes later. After we were done eating I was having a conversation with my with and she walked up and ask " Are you guys even getting dessert?"..

Just had lunch here with my girlfriends and it wasn't all that bad!
The price for lunch was fair ($19 after taxes) for all-you-can-eat.
I have been to tons of sushi restaurants and the only critique I have of some of the food here is their sushi that has spicy mayo in it, and the ramen noodles in soup.

We ordered spicy salmon rolls and there was little to no spicy mayo in it -- you would have to order it on the side separately to actually taste it.
Also, the noodles in the soup was B L A N D; no taste to it whatsoever which was unfortunate.

Overall, the service was good, and the food came quickly. I would go here a second time if I had nowhere else to eat.

Sushi is good! The service definitely needs improvement and more awareness around food allergies.
They don't have GF soy sauce, and show no desire to accommodate anyone with Gluten Allergy.

Loved the sushi here. They cannot guarantee the safety of food in the kitchen for allergy sufferers but they can guarantee the sushi is safe. That is only reason for one star less. Staff is also super nice.

BEST place for sushi in Durham! My family loves coming here - great dinner menu with lots of special roll options. Extremely fresh sashimi as well. Highly recommend!
