“Nothing wrong with going to McDonald's! My three doesn't necessarily represent my experience. It is hit or miss with McDonald's, depending on time of day. McDonald's, like any other corporate entity, staff's based on their most busiest time. Unfortunately their algorithm doesn't reflect the truth. However, on off times, their staff is able to serve you properly and even above expectations. Overall though, expect nothing above a three, and depending on the time or the day, it could be higher or lower. In my opinion, three is the norm.”

“I probably just had the best vanilla latte and chocolate chip cookie. Both super tasty and not overwhelming in taste. Just well balanced. I have to go back to try their salads cause the menu looked super yummy. Friendly staff, quick service, clean and tidy. Outdoor sitting available! This location has no change table for people with young kids.”

“An afternoon excursion in search of ice cream landed us here for a treat. We stopped in to a warm greeting, were promptly seated and given some menus. My daughter ordered the "Katy Berry" and she thought it was amazing (see pic below for smile). A few minutes later and it was nothing left but an empty designer glass and two dirty spoons. We will likely be back to try something different and were impressed by this first shared offering.”

“The shift manager Riley was very pleasant. I am not giving 5 stars because it took them a while to give us our meals. The people behind us got their meals first, I don’t know why. It’s not cool especially when you’re in a rush.”

“This one of my favorite stores for shopping. Great selection of food and other products that are organic or natural. Lots of gluten free products for those that are so inclined. Great staff and service is always excellent. In terms of prices they're above average but you pay for what you get - superb quality. Highly recommended.”

“Very friendly staff. I was very impressed that i was offered table service as i came in on my own with three kids. The staff members weren't bothered or concerned that my two oldest were helping themselves to balloons and when i apologised told me not to worry. Really appreciate their kindness and understanding.”

“Well I certainly felt joyful when I bit into one of your vegan cupcakes. I don’t usually eat store bought desserts anymore but my sister kept mentioning about a wonderful shop she found which sold vegan desserts. I finally got the opportunity to try one and absolutely enjoyed it. I’m already looking to another opportunity.”

“Amazing pastries and sandwiches. Highly recommend the chocolate avalanche. Great coffee. The only reason I give 3 stars is because the service is the worst service I've experienced in a long time, staff is very rude. They are lucky the food is great!”

“Really enjoyed my lunch there the other day. The staff were very friendly and helpful to me and other patrons. It is more of a self serve type cafe however I noticed the young waitress helping a lady in a moterized wheel chair, she even knew her coffee order. That is the kind of kindness we need more of in this world. I believe the energy we put out is what we get back and we all need to be nicer to each other. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff there and I would 10/10 recommend.”

“This coffee shop is super cute on the inside, and is in a great location to get a coffee or an ice cream before or after you go to the lake. I didn't love their coffee, and the iced chai I had was basically all foam for $5, so I wouldn't specifically come here for their drinks.”

“Really, really great little shop. Definitely have some of the best ice cream flavours in town. I've yet to try their food but have been for ice cream at least 2 dozen times. The owner is a real top notch guy as well. The place also has a great retro look, if you haven't been you gotta try it!”
