Went in for a new experience after hearing positive things. For starters, it is Niagara Falls. Almost every restaurant is going to be overpriced when compared to other places, but this restaurant is on par with pretty much any other dining experience you can have in the city. The food was delicious, service was attentive, and wait times on the food were not long at all.

It was a typical 3-course meal for x amount of dollars. Like anywhere else, some of the items have an additional cost. All things considered, it was an expensive evening, but the view was phenomenal, the food good, and good service. While I think the cost makes regular visits here prohibitive, it was definitely worth checking out to at least say I have gone there.

We Loved it. Seated by the Window. Evening approached. And the Family was happy. Waiter (Nick) and Staff very polite and positive. And that's what sells. People Sell People. Who cares about Money????

Its definitely worth a visit to this restaurant once if not for the view itself. Make sure you book your reservation so you will be there to watch the fireworks (if they are on that night). It's so lovely to dine with the falls and when darkness hits, the beautiful lights on the falls make for an awesome vibe. The musician and live music was really awesome too.

Overall, the food is ok, but not great. DON'T get the shrimp and avocado appetizer. I really didn't enjoy it. Its very bland and a strange mixing of sauces that really doesn't work. And the rack of lamb and steak were not the best or the most fresh.

Too bad about the food. It definitely won't be on our repeat places to visit.

First off, having made a reservation, we were offered a table for four where two of us would have been facing a wall, instead of the fall. This was soon fixed, as we requested a change (the restaurant was only about 1/4 full, btw).

Second, and this was a bit our fault for not having looked at the menu in advance, we did not like the obligatory three-course offering at a fixed and very expensive price (nearly $60 per person). We felt it was quite elevated, and many of the options that we preferred came at an additional price.

We like eating well, and this trip has already taken us through places such as NYC, where fine dining is a luxury and where, curiously enough, we just dined at a French restaurant with the same menu policy at $20 less per person. It was incredible. The Watermark, sadly, has been the most expensive and least enjoyable culinary experience we’ve had on this trip.

Moreover, we were guests at the hotel the restaurant is located in, and we figured it would be great to have an even better view than we had from our room (they do advertise top floor, after all). It turns out the restaurant is on the exact same floor our room was on, only atop another (smaller) tower.

My son correctly pointed out we could’ve ordered food from our room at a fraction of what we spent at the restaurant, with the same view.

So, overall, it’s not that the food was not good (although nothing out of the ordinary), but how expensive it was. Completely out of proportion with not enough choices.
